Thomas Lyle Sutman

Thomas Lyle Sutman, 72, born on August 3, 1949, in Decatur, IL, United States, and passed away July 9, 2022. Thomas was the father of 3 children, Keri (fiancé Omar, Son Alexander), Steven (wife Sarah, Daughters Stella, Sienna and son Sawyer) and Nicole (husband Dave, Sons Caylen and Jackson and Daughter Emma). Thomas (Tom) had 7 beautiful grandchildren that he loved dearly. In his younger years Tom was an avid surfer, snow skier, pilot and motorcycle rider. Tom loved coaching his children in soccer and was a active member of the WCYSC. Tom graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Cal Poly Pomona and went on to become a Certified Public Accountant. Tom also donated thousands of hours of his time to Cory's Kitchen in Irwindale, CA, helping to meet the needs, both physically and spiritually, of hungry, hurting individuals, first within the fellowship of believers and secondly within the surrounding community. His purpose there was to share food, faith, care, and compassion with others while they were going through their current situations. Tom is predeceased by his Mother Lois Virginia, Father Roy and sister Gerre. Tom leaves behind his children, grandchildren, brother William, sister Donna, Brother in Law Bing and multiple nieces and nephews. Tom will be remembered for his loving heart and will be missed dearly. He resided in Covina, CA at the time of his passing. A graveside memorial will held on July 28th at 9am, at Forest Lawn, Covina Hills.
