Thomas Murphy Norton

Thomas Murphy Norton, 47, born on February 28, 1966, in Tallahassee, Florida, passed away June 9, 2013. He resided in Fullerton, California for the last 25 years of his life and at the time of his passing. Thomas was a loving husband of 25 years to his wife Kelly Norton, and a wonderful father to his four children, daughters, Kristie 24, Dallas 20, KC 18 and Son, Michael 22. Thomas worked as a union Ironworker in Local 433 for 10 years. He discovered his true calling and profession of choice as a Correctional Officer for the CA Department of Corrections in which he worked for 15 years. He supported his children in all of their endeavors as a boy scout leader, girl scout volunteer, chaperone at school events, sports coach, and a myriad of other activities. He adored his wife and spent his life showing his devotion. Horseback riding, scuba diving, hunting, fixing anything, helping others, and spending time with his family and friends were his life. His adventurous spirit, snappy wit, selfless service, and love for his fellow men will be sorely missed. He loved the Lord and is free from the trials of this world. He is now with his father, Gayle Evan Norton and with our Heavenly Father. Thomas was a great man and he will remembered by many. A celebration of Thomas's life will take place as follows:
