Thomas Rocky Loredo
April 24, 1971 – June 3, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Rocky Loredo, who entered into eternal rest on June 3, 2026, at the age of 55. Rocky was born on April 24, 1971, in Riverside, California, to Rafael Delgado Loredo and Cristina Ruiz Loredo, and spent his life surrounded by the love of family, friends, and the rich traditions he held close to his heart.
Rocky was a proud Tejano whose love for music and dancing was known by everyone who knew him. Whether it was the sound of an accordion filling the room or a favorite Tejano song playing at a family gathering, Rocky was often the first on the dance floor and the last to leave it. He found joy in celebrating life, sharing laughter, and bringing people together. His smile was contagious, his sense of humor unforgettable, and his presence could light up any room.
Above all, Rocky cherished his family. He was a devoted husband, a loving stepfather, a proud grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He treasured time spent with loved ones, creating memories that will be carried in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Romelia Gutierrez Loredo; his son, Ruben Rocky Loredo; his stepchildren, Adriana Sauceda Hernandez, Arlene Sauceda, Anthony Sauceda, and George Hernandez; his brothers and sisters, Rafael "Ruben" Loredo and Hortencia Flores of Pasadena, Texas, Javier Loredo of La Quinta, California, Criselda Rios, Diane Ojeda, Cecilia Salomon, and Maria Loredo of Indio, California; as well as nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Rocky was welcomed into Heaven by his parents, Rafael Delgado Loredo and Cristina Ruiz Loredo; his brothers, Mike Loredo and Roy Ruiz Loredo; his stepson, Fernando Sauceda; his nephew, Richard R. Loredo; and his nieces, Marisela Flores and Minerva Loredo.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the memories Rocky leaves behind. The music, the dancing, the laughter, the stories, and the love he shared so freely. His spirit will live on in every family gathering, every Tejano song played, and every dance shared among those who loved him. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in our hearts.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m., at Forest Lawn in Coachella, California. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Indio, California, followed by interment at Coachella Valley Public Cemetery.
The family welcomes all who knew and loved Rocky to join them in celebrating his life and sharing memories of the joy, laughter, and love he brought to so many.
