April 4, 1959 — December 11, 2013

Thomas Hines, 54, passed away on December 11, 2013. He graduated magna cum laude with highest honors from Harvard, and received a law degree also from Harvard. He won the Washburn Prize for best undergraduate thesis, the Dana Reed Prize for excellence in undergraduate journalism, and the Sheldon Traveling Fellowship, among other accolades. After practicing law, Thomas became a screenwriter, creating dramas for network and cable television. He loved what he did and did what he loved. Thomas is survived by his wife, Ann, daughter, Amelia, as well as his mother, Cathleen, and sister, Cindi. He was dearly loved and will be missed by family, friends and colleagues.
