Plaistow, NH: Thomas L. Cashman, 33, a resident of Plaistow for most of his life, died June 16, 2016 in Manchester, NH.
Born in Salem, MA, son of Lawrence and Kathleen (Manning) Cashman, he was raised and educated in Plaistow. He attended the Pollard School and was a member of the Timberlane Regional High School Class of 2001. He attended Northern Essex Community College and was a foreman and fork lift operator, employed at Benson's Lumber Yard and Hardware of Londonderry.
Charismatic, charming and larger than life, Tom possessed a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. He was loving, sentimental and generous and could make you feel safe and secure with his famous bear hugs and rarely missed an opportunity to send someone a handmade loving and sentimental card or gift. He enjoyed television shows and reruns from the 1980's and 1990's and movies with superheroes as the main character, especially Superman and stored an endless collection of movie and television references mixed with his quick wit that he shared with family and friends. An avid Miami Dolphins fan, he also enjoyed other local sports teams.
He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his mother and step-father, Kathy Manning and Michael Roberts of Plaistow, his father Larry Cashman and his companion Lynne Ellis, both of Londonderry, his brother and sister-in-law, Sean and Katelin Cashman of Newton, aunts and uncles, Thomas and Karen Manning, Paul Manning, Bill and Carol Cashman, Jim and Janice Cashman, Ed and Marie Cashman, Bill and Janet Johnson, Rick and Yung Suk Cashman, and Lois and Bill Cole, and several cousins.
