Theresa Marie Poirier

Mrs. Theresa Marie Poirier, 76, born on March 1, 1936, in Boston, MA, passed away suddenly December 29, 2012. She resided in Palm Springs, CA at the time of her passing. Beloved wife of the late William A Poirier Sr. Loving mother of eight children William Poirier Jr, Paul Poirier, Mark Poirier, Joseph Poirier Karyn Corcoran, Kathryn Reis, Theresa Allen, and Michelle Poirier. Theresa had 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was the cherished sister of Patricia Bottary, Richard Bottary, the late Joseph Bottary, the late William Bottary, and the late Kenneth Bottary. Also, survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Theresa's Parish in Palm Springs Friday January 11th at 10:30am. With a reception after in the parish hall, hosted by the Altar Society. For those friends and family on the east coast, a Funeral Mass will be held at Mission Church in Boston on Saturday January 19th at 10AM. A celebration of her life will be at the Salty Bonz in Plymouth. All are welcome to attend. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cathedral City, CA.
