Theresa Cheng Lum

Theresa Cheng Lum, 80, was born on November 23, 1934 in Jingchow, China. She lived in Beijing until she and her family emigrated to Tainan, Taiwan. She came to the US on Thanksgiving 1954 as a foreign student, and graduated from Marymount College in 1959. In 1960, Theresa married Albert C. Lum. They have four children and ten grandchildren, Jennifer (Mara and Anya), Mina (Christine and Melissa), Albert Justin (Nicholas, Keenan, and Ameline) and Robert (Joshua, Amy, and Austin), and respective in-laws in Kent, John, Selene, and Pamela.
Theresa was active in her husband's and children's lives, supporting and urging them to do the best they could, and to live their lives with respect and courtesy to all. Her imprint upon her family is indelible, her love and care for them her greatest legacy, and she will be remembered and cherished by them all.
Theresa left us on August 4, 2015, for a better place where she now can rest in peace. May God take care of her as she took care of her family.
