Theodore Edwin Derbish

Theodore (Ted) Edwin Derbish, age 73, passed away while in the care of Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA on August 21, 2013. His loving wife, Leslie, and their son Michael were at his side.

Ted was born on December 1, 1939 in Hammond, Indiana, and moved with his family to Ontario, CA at the age of 4. Ted was a Partner at the Civil Engineering firm of Derbish, Guerra, & Associates until he retired in 2001. He coached Ontario Eastern Little League and AYSO Region 66 Soccer for 35 years.

Ted is survived by his wife Leslie and his son Michael, and Son-In-Law John Aragon, of Long Beach, CA; Sandi Shirley (sister), Tiffany Shirley (niece) from Hemet, CA; Nephew, Tim Shirley (Aimee) from Taylors, SC; Stephanie Brown (niece) from Ojai, CA; nephew, Mathew Brown (Jamie) of Ventura, CA, four great nieces/nephews – Jessica, Madison, Matthew, and Berkeley, and many extended family members in the Salt Lake City, Utah area. Ted was preceded in death by Ted and Corrine Derbish, Henry and Jean Brown, Steve Brown, and his son Christopher Stephen Derbish,

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2013, at the Church of Our Heritage in Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, CA
