Thelma Francis Kirkham, 98, was born on November 27, 1914, in Topeka, Kansas. She married Clark H. Kirkham on April 04, 1936 in Topeka, Kansas. She is survived by her sister, Sylvia Linnell; two daughters, Lorna D. Hill and Dixie Jo Wilson and son in law Robert Wilson; Eight grandchildren; Tim Hill and wife Valerie, Mark Hill, Deena Hill-Bulik and husband Gary, Gregory Hill, Alicia Hill, Erik Hill, Dan Wilson and wife Marrisa, and Susan Wilson; Eleven great grandchildren; Serena Jean and husband Anthony, Marlena Hill, Clark Hill and wife Bethany, Glen Hill, Vanessa Hill/Aubart and husband Adam, Charlene Hill Craig and husband Jason, Johaan Hill, Autumn Bayer, Fallon Bayer, Elizabeth Wilson and James Wilson; Nine great great grandchildren: Kaya Jean, Amara Jean, Isabella Alvarado, Cadence Hill, Oliver Hill, Kathleen Hill, Kyle Craig, Ryan Craig, Crystal Craig and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Thelma passed away May 4, 2013. She resided in San Jose, California at the time of her passing. Thelma was a wonderful daughter, loving sister and perfect wife, fabulous mother, terrific grandmother, special great grandmother and proud great great grandmother, beloved aunt, caring cousin and fun loving
friend to many. Early in her life she was a teacher. She was a strong Christian Lady. She was a talented painter. She loved crocheting and knitting, making blankets and scarves for many, She loved gardening and feeding the birds. Jeopardy was one of her favorite pastimes as well as doing cross-word puzzles with a pen! She was well traveled, whether in a car, bus, train, plane, tiny camper, 5th wheeled trailer, cruise ship and even a bicycle or rickshaw; to places as far away as Japan, Hong Kong, Hawaii, Canada, Alaska, England, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Morroco and most of the United States.
We will all miss her and know that her greatest prayer was that all her loved ones will know that "Jesus is our Lord and Savior", as it says on her headston

Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, CA..
Grave side services will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 11:30.
