"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Mark 16:15

Dr. Terry Couch Siu was born to Louis and Ella Couch on December 19th in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She met and married her best friend Mataalii Siu, who adored Terry, and together they shared 40 years of marriage. Terry and Mac were like-minded and shared the gospel with everyone around them. As a unit, they had a heart for saving souls. Terry and Mac were blessed with many memories they shared with their beloved dog Prince.

Pastor Terry was the founder and Pastor of Sky Pilot Temple. With her daddy Louis by her side, she built the church to stand on the mountain overlooking the Pomona Valley. On any given Sunday, Pastor Terry sang with her mother Sister Ella and husband Reverend Mac, her sister Vicky playing keys, and Reverend Glenn Chambers playing guitar followed by her delivery of a powerful message. Her sermons were interwoven with either her humor or her tough love approach but always founded in the truth of God's Word. Pastor Terry held the annual "Gathering of the Prophets" on the church campus and hosted evangelists, pastors and prophets from all over the country.

Terry loved to sing and was part of the Sky Pilot singers. Throughout the years, they recorded countless songs of worship. Aside from her powerful voice, Terry had a powerful presence. The light within her had no choice but to shine around her. A typical Pastor Terry greeting was a "well hello....." followed by a tight hug and strong pat on the back. Terry spoke truth into the lives of the people she loved and exhorted, "make heaven your home". She never shied away from it and for that reason she was instrumental in changing lives.

Terry's work was completed on January 23, 2021. She leaves behind to honor her memory her husband Mataalii Siu, sister Vicky Couch Chambers, brother in law Reverend Glenn Chambers and a host of extended family, friends and loved ones who all loved her very much.
