Terry Bonecutter was born on October 1, 1943, in Freeport, Illinois, and passed away on April 7, 2026, in Toluca Lake, California. He was 82 years old.
Terry Bonecutter was an influential leader in hospital administration and community healthcare whose career left a lasting mark on the institutions and communities he served. He served as Administrator of the Division of Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic, Chief Operating Officer at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, President and CEO of Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, President and CEO of Queen of Angels Hospital, and President and CEO of QueensCare. Throughout his career, he was especially committed to expanding access to care for underserved communities in Los Angeles, and he earned the respect of colleagues through his leadership, character, and commitment.
He lived a full and happy life, marked by meaningful work and genuine enjoyment of life’s simple pleasures: good food, family and friends, hunting, fishing, and hiking.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Opal Bonecutter. He is survived by his beloved wife, Tez Bonecutter; his sister, Susie; his sons, Brett Bonecutter and Brian Bonecutter; and his grandchildren, Blake, Jordan, Luke, Jason, Madison, and Ella.
