Terrance Huntoon

Terrance Huntoon, 93, passed away on December 25, 2021. Terrance was a long-time resident of Shadow Hills, California.
Terry lived a full and active life. Born in Rochester, New York, Terry moved with his family to Los Angeles, California, as a child. In high school, Terry played football and was a competitive gymnast. Following graduation, he joined the Army, serving in the 82nd Airborne.
After returning home, Terry attended the Art Center School of Design in Los Angeles. He then joined the Art Group, "Huntoon, Smith and Hayakawa", where he had a successful career in the record and entertainment industry as an art director.
From there, Terry moved to Mattel Toys, where he worked as a Senior Art Director, a position that made use of his creative talents and steeled discipline.
Terry had wide ranging interests: painting, design, military history. He was an accomplished horseback rider and an animal lover who spent much of his life surrounded by his horses, dogs and cats.
He is survived his 2 children, Paul Huntoon and Janis Huntoon (Lauren Harris); and his brothers Spencer Huntoon (Tally) and Jay Huntoon (Carol). Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Sarah Huntoon, his brother Martin Huntoon, and his former wife Patricia Huntoon (née Bozung).
Terry was devoted to his family and friends, and he will be greatly missed.
