Teresa Morreale

Teresa Morreale, 78, born on May 19, 1934, in Grotte, Sicily (Italy) passed away August 19, 2012 joining her Husband Antonio (Tony) Morreale who passed away in August of 1993. Teresa resided in Eagle Rock (Los Angeles), California at the time of her passing.

Teresa immigrated to the United States in 1955 through New York settling into the Los Angeles area to join her Husband who had come a few years earlier to get established while she stayed in Sicily to take care of her Father-in-law. A hard worker Teresa was employed as a seamstress part-time and then later full-time at the original Van De Kamp's bakery in Los Angeles until she eventually became a full-time Mom taking care of Vince and later Dave and Lucia.
Always warm, caring, and generous Teresa welcomed all into her home with traditional Italian hospitality, good conversation, and a home cooked meal.

She is survived by two brothers Tony and Angelo and by her three children Vince, Dave, and Lucia and six grandchildren Sam, Matt, Katelyn, Julia, Marc, and Christopher who will never forget their Nonna.
