Teresa Jean Lax

Teresa Jean Lax, age 83, of Indio, CA, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, August 28, 2013. Teresa was born April 21, 1930, was raised in East Chicago, Indiana, the daughter of Italian immigrants Fred and Carmella (Troilo) Massmill, and graduated from Washington High School in East Chicago. Teresa and her husband of 62 years, Donald, resided in Indiana until they relocated to California in 2010. Teresa will be fondly remembered by her loving family: son and daughter-in-law, Frederick and Barbara, and grandchildren Ashley and Kelsey, all of California; daughter-in-law Deborah, and grandchildren Jonathan, Michael, Sarah, and David, all of Connecticut. Teresa was preceded in death by her husband Donald, and a son, Kevin. Teresa's family will have a memorial service on Friday, September 6, 2013, 12 pm at the Forest Lawn Chapel, 82975 Requa Avenue, Indio, CA 92201.
