Teresa De Jesus Duarte

Teresa Jesus "Tere" Duarte Osuna Villalpando sadly passed away on August 25, 2022, in Baldwin Park, California.

Tere was born in Villa Union Sinaloa, Mexico on October 15th and named after the Patron Saint on that day, Teresa de Jesus. She graduated from San Diego High School in San Diego, California. Tere enjoyed watching baseball, especially her beloved San Diego Padres and traveling and having adventures with her daughter and best friend, Romie.

Tere had a beautiful, inviting smile and an infectious laugh. Tere was hardworking and fiercely devoted to her family and friends. Not only did you love Tere if you were blessed to know her, but she always made you feel loved and special. She never forgot to wish you a happy birthday. She was a perfect and rare balance of gentleness and strength. Although she was a force to be reckoned with, she was a kind, caring and loving Mother, Wife, Sister, Cousin, Aunt, Godmother and friend. Being Romie's Mom was her most treasured role and proudest achievement.
She is survived and deeply loved and missed by her daughter, Romie and husband, Steve and has left an indelible mark in all of the hearts of those of us who knew her. We love you Tere and we will never forget you.

Tere nació en Villa Union Sinaloa, Mexico el 15 de octubre, el mismo día de la Santa Teresa de Jesus. Se graduó de la escuela secundaria en San Diego, California. Tere disfrutó viendo béisbol, especialmente sus amados Padres de San Diego y viajando y teniendo aventuras con su hija y mejor amiga, Romie.

Tere tenía una sonrisa llamativa y una risa contagiosa. Tere era trabajadora y ferozmente dedicada a su familia y sus amigos. Si fuiste bendecido en conocerla, Tere siempre te hacía sentir amado/a y especial. Nunca se olvidó desearte un Feliz Cumpleaños. Ella era un perfecto balance de amor y fortaleza. Aunque ella era una fuerza a tener en cuenta, ella era una madre, esposa, hermana, prima, tía amable, madrina y amiga tierna y cariñosa. Ser Mamá de Romie fue su papel más preciado y su logro más orgulloso.
Ella es sobrevivida y profundamente amada y estañada por su hija, Romie y marido, Steve y ha dejado una marca indeleble en todos los corazones de aquellos de nosotros que la conocía. Te amamos, Tere y nunca te olvidaremos.
