Teotimo (Totti) Corpus Gealogo, Jr., 64, was born on October 22, 1947, in Manila, Philippines. He resided in Los Angeles, CA at the time of his passing. He is survived by Virginia Literte Gealogo, his wife of 30 years, also a native of the Philippines. Totti led a very successful but simple life. Totti and his wife migrated to the US in 2006 to join his brothers, Long (deceased in 2009), Enat from Baton Rouge, LA, Eric and Nick from Fontana, CA, and their respective families, along with his in-laws, the Litertes - Gil, Larry, Rod, Ernie and Norby, and their families.
Totti was 2nd in the family of twelve. He was survived by his parents Teotimo, Sr. (+) and Juanita and his siblings: 3 brothers â Vincent, Lawrence, and Tony, and 4 sisters â Dali, Marilou, Helen, and Clottie. With the untimely death of his father, Totti not only provided for his family financially, but also provided them with love and nurturing that they well deserved. Totti is not only a family man, but he is also a man of his career. Totti worked for one of the leading insurance companies in the Philippines for over 30 years as a Training Director and as a Sales Agency Manager.
In August 15, 1982, Totti married Gina Literte. The couple became very active in their local parish, Sagrada Familia Parish in Caloocan City. Totti started his journey in the parish as a Special Minister of the Holy Communion, which then prepared him to be the chairman of the Worship Ministry. Long after, Totti became the Parish Pastoral Council Chairperson for ten years. Fr. Jun Bartolome who worked with him during all those years shared that Totti's gentle and calm persona has facilitated his adjustment as a new pastor, while his strong character challenged him to do more. According to Fr. Jun, together, they were the perfect tandem in the shepherding of God's flock in the parish.
Totti was considered a role model by many Sagrada Familia parishioners. He has provided inspiration for others to follow. According to one parishioner, Totti has bore so much fruit that he's loved and respected for who he is.
When he and Gina migrated in the US, they wanted to continue their pastoral work, so Totti served as a lector at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament in Hollywood, CA. He was popular most especially with the 7:30AM mass goers for his well modulated "bass" voice. Totti was also called "The Voice" by one of the parishioners.
(Nagbalik na muli si Totti sa kanyang Tagapaglikha. Humayo ka mahal sa kanlungan ng Panginoon at magpahinga. Maraming salamat sa iyong walang hanggang pagmamahal sa akin. Lubos kitang mahal. Mananatili ka sa aking puso't isipan. I am grateful and I am truly blessed to be your wife. You are God's greatest gift to me and you are the greatest expression of His Love. Thank you Mahal.)
