Teodoro Teddy Trejo Jr.

Teodoro Trejo Jr., 39, was born on October 21, 1975, and passed away on December 26, 2014.

During a family trip to Guanajauto, Mexico, Ted fell ill on December 22nd and was flown by air ambulance for treatment to a San Antonio, Texas hospital where, despite emergency medical intervention, he died as a consequence of unexpected medical complications.

Ted was born in San Jose, Guanajuato to Teodoro and Bertha Trejo. He will forever be remembered and missed by his parents as well as three siblings, sister Rocio, brothers Erik and Jose "Pepe", sisters-in-law Mayra and Ana, brother-in-law Peter Iida, nephews Erik, Nathanael, Ethan, Gavin, Jonas and niece Aileen, as well as his life-partner of 17 years, Scott Sorensen, and their pup Chewie.

Ted touched many lives of those he encountered and he enjoyed helping the children at Roosevelt Elementary School in Pasadena, California with his caring and patient demeanor.

It has been comforting for his loved ones that during the family's short, two-day trip to Mexico, Ted was able to see many aunts, uncles, cousins and his Abuela Raquel, who shared with him stories from his childhood and more mischievous days.

We don't think he ever really knew or quite understood how dearly he was held and loved by so many different people. May you rest in peace Teddy... until we meet again!
