Tamara Watkins Bloomfield

Tamara Latrice Watkins Bloomfield was born August 17, 1972, in Granada Hills, CA, and was a resident of Lakeview Terrace during her youth. Tamara went home to be with the Lord at the age of 46, on Saturday, September 1, 2018. She resided in Santa Clarita, CA, with her husband, Bryan, and precious three year old daughter, Nyla Renee. Tamara accepted Christ at an early age and was a recent member of New Image Church of Palmdale. Tamara graduated from UCLA in 1994 with a B.A. in Sociology. She began her employment at Vons as a courtesy clerk in 1990, and established a career as she climbed the ladder to store director. Tamara was thrilled to be a new mom, wife; and to have recently fulfilled her dream of purchasing a new home. Tamara was fun and outgoing, a true adventurer, demonstrated by her recent bungee jumping experience. She was an avid traveler, both in the U.S. and abroad, enjoyed annual cruises, concerts, festivals, and varied events. Tamara was best known for her bright smile, positive attitude, and her strong faith in God. She had a deep love of family and extended that love and support to her three godsons, Cahlil, Cameron and Christian. Our very beloved Tamara is survived by her husband Bryan, daughter Nyla Renee, stepson, Bryan Alexander Bloomfield, parents, Nellie and Louis Watkins, sisters, Tanya Watkins, Candice Steele, Courtney Govan, Alexis Watkins, and brother, Victor Watkins. Brother in-laws, Vincent Govan, Theo Steele, and Leroy Welcome. Father in-law, Leroy Bloomfield. She's also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
