March 9, 1943 — August 26, 2019

Tal Mirza, 76, of Palm Springs, passed away on August 26, 2019. He was born in Faizabad, India on March 9,1943, to the late Sharf Huddin Ahmed Mirza and Ruquia Hayat Mirza. He was the loving husband of Kathleen Weremiuk for 30 years. His three siblings, Ishrat, Farrat and Farida predeceased him. He earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees at Antioch University. He had several careers. Managing a tea plantation in Bangladesh for 10 years, working for 20 years in the Hospitality Industry where he rose to the rank of General Manager and finished his career spending 15 years as an ESL instructor at UCLA and the Los Angeles School System. He is survived by his wife Kathy, and cousins, nieces and nephews in India, Pakistan, England, France, Australia, UAE, and the US; and many loving friends from every era of his life. Talat viewed himself as a citizen of the world. He was interred at Desert Memorial Park on Saturday, August 31, 2019.
