Tai-Ying Lue, born on June 11, 1949, in Taiwan, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025, in La Crescenta, California. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and infectious laughter.

For over 30 years, Tai-Ying dedicated her career to serving as a tax auditor for the state of New Jersey, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to her profession. Her colleagues and clients admired her for her attention to detail and her ability to make others feel at ease.

Tai-Ying’s personality was as vibrant as her laughter, which echoed through the hearts of all who encountered it. With a big personality and a great sense of humor, she could draw anyone into conversation, making them feel seen and cherished. Deeply compassionate, she always thought of others before herself, exemplifying what it meant to be truly selfless. Her willingness to lend a helping hand made her beloved among her family, friends, and community. Whether it was engaging in friendly banter while searching for bargains at the local market or pausing to enjoy the beauty of a long walk, Tai-Ying had the remarkable ability to find joy in the little things in life.

Time spent with family was particularly cherished, as she loved cooking for everyone and sharing delightful meals. Tai-Ying also enjoyed long walks, soaking up the fresh air and scenery, and she had a knack for finding great bargains at supermarkets and clothing stores. She particularly enjoyed going on vacations and trips with her family, exploring new places to visit and trying out different cuisines.

Tai-Ying is survived by her loving husband, Ching-Hsing Lue, her sons, Jason Lue and Johnson Lue, and their wives, Pou Lue and Vivian Lue. She was also a proud grandmother to Juno Lue and Liam Lue, whose lives she enriched with her love and laughter.

A funeral service in her honor will be held on December 13, 2025, at the Forest Lawn - Glendale - Wee Kirk o' the Heather, located at 1712 South Glendale Avenue, Glendale, CA 91205. The service will begin at 9:30 AM and conclude at 10:30 AM. Burial will be at Sunset Grove after the service at 10:30 AM
