Sylvia Youngker

Sylvia Dianne Youngker passed away peacefully on June 30, 2023, at Riverside Community Hospital at the age of 81 with her family by her side. She was born on May 13, 1942 in Long Beach, CA to Perry and Helen Harrington. She attended high school in Avalon, CA where she met her future husband Ronald Youngker. They married in August 1960, together they had five children. She is predeceased by her husband Ronald and her sister Sandi Lemos. Sylvia leaves behind her children, Ronald (Carolyn) Youngker, Michael Youngker, Kimberely (Roger) Dick, Shawn Youngker, Beau (Alana) Youngker, and her two sisters, Susan Kruse and Sharon Wakefield. She leaves behind her loving husband Peter Hemmings of Corona, CA, his son Aaron (Maureen) Hemmings, their children, Brandon and Derek and his daughter Michelle Hemmings and her daughter Kyra. Sylvia was an amazing “GMA” to nine grandchildren, “GGMA” to ten great grandchildren. Sylvia was a wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, sister and friend. She was a true light in this world and will be so very missed. Anyone that knew her loved and adored her for her warm compassion and loving ways. Until we meet again we will love you always and forever because love never dies.
