Sylvia Nelson, 76, born on October 1, 1937, in Syracuse, New York. It is with the deepest sympathy that we let you know of Sylvia Nelson's passing on July 26, 2014 from aggressive/progressive 'Pulmonary Fibrosis'. Sylvia was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. Sylvia has always had a passion for beauty and beauty in people, she owned her own beauty shop in Syracuse, NY and when Sylvia relocated to Orange County, CA she was head beautician at 'Fountain Care Convalescent Home' in Orange, CA. Sylvia loved children and was a 'Head Start' Teacher and 'Sabbath School' Teacher at the Shelton Street Seventh Day Adventist Church. She volunteered at the Garden Grove Seventh Day Adventist Church as 'Community Service Assistant'. Sylvia loved the Lord Jesus. She resided in Garden Grove, California, at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress, California.
