Sylvia Maria Caceres, 82, born on February 17, 1940, in Havana, Cuba, passed away May 29, 2022. She resided in Palm Desert, CA at the time of her passing. She is survived by her sister, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was welcomed by the Lord, her parents, her husband and both of her children. She always surrounded herself with her friends and family, which is where she felt most comfortable and loved. Known to many as Mima or Chicha, Sylvia lived her life like no other. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, wife and friend. She enjoyed cooking, cosmetology and traveling. She was an active and caring woman who spent most of her life thinking of others. She was strong and a fighter, never letting her health prevent her from living her best life. She will be missed but never forgotten.
Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Coachella, California.
