Obituary

In Loving Memory of Suzie Valdez

“

The memories and lessons she leaves behind will remain in the hearts of her family forever.

With deep love and sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Suzie Valdez.

Suzie Valdez, 87, born on August 27, 1939, in Manila, Philippines, passed away September 24, 2026. She resided in Torrance, CA at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Long Beach,

Suzie was a hardworking and determined woman throughout her life. From a young age, she worked tirelessly and, through her dedication and perseverance, was able to purchase multiple properties—an accomplishment that reflected her strength, independence, and desire to provide for her family.

Suzie also loved cooking and caring for the people she loved. Her family will always remember the meals she prepared, the time spent together, and the many memories created around her table.

Suzie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Telesforo Valdez.

She leaves behind her loving children, Tyrone and Maggie; her grandchildren, Daniella, Jasmine, Andrew, Tara, and Malisa; and her great-grandchildren, Ace and Dani.

Suzie will be remembered for her strength, hard work, determination, and the life she built for her family. Her love and legacy will continue through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Though she will be deeply missed, the memories and lessons she leaves behind will remain in the hearts of her family forever.

Rest peacefully, nanay. You will always be loved, remembered, and forever in our hearts.
