Atkinson, NH: Suzanne A. (Denoncourt) Pirog, 66, of Atkinson, NH passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA.
Suzanne was born and raised in Manchester, NH, daughter of the late Arthur and Rita M. (Trottier) Denoncourt. She attended St. Anthony High School, graduating with the Class of 1964 and also attended Notre Dame College, receiving dual degrees in both Commercial and Fine Arts. She worked in retail management and later worked as a Graphic Artist for the Seacoast News, the Eagle Tribune and as the Graphic Art Department Manager for the Haverhill Gazette and most recently in the graphics department at the Salem Observer.

She was a member of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish at Holy Angels Church in Plaistow, NH. She had a passion for the history of the United States, especially Native American History. She enjoyed working with her mother Rita on the family genealogy. She was a talented artist, seamstress, and photographer. She enjoyed traveling and especially enjoyed time in the White Mountains and York Beach, Maine. She adored her children, grandchildren and the children of her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her husband of forty-four years, Michael Pirog, Jr.; two daughters and son-in-law, Nicole M. Pirog of Atkinson; Tania M. and Chad D. LaFrance of Plano, TX; a brother, Michael Denoncourt of Dunbarton; four sisters, Francoise Riel of Manchester, Louise Dion of Bolton, CT and Marguerite Denoncourt-Bucko of W. Harwich, MA Rachel Lessard of Londonderry NH; and a granddaughter, Kate A. LaFrance and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call on Monday, May 20, 2013, from 5 to 9 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 8:30 AM from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 172 Belmont St., Manchester, NH. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester, NH.
