Susan Sojoun Wee, 79, born as So Joun Kim (written as Kim So Joun 김소전) on September 03, 1946, in Seoul, South Korea, passed away July 12, 2026. She resided in Van Nuys, CA at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, CA. She received her education at the prestigious Ewha Womans University based in Seoul, Republic of Korea, where she earned her Bachelor of Pharmacy on February 24, 1969. Soon after married Chong Shik Wee shortly on May 23, 1969; together they emigrated to the U.S. in 1970 where she successfully established her career as a pharmacist for Los Angeles County for almost 20 years.

Susan devoted herself tirelessly to faith, family, community and was a woman of many skills and artistic talents and accomplished everything in quiet humility. As a devout Christian, she enjoyed reading the Bible and listening to sermons on KKLA 99.5fm.

She is survived by her three daughters, Katherine Seo, Sandy Wee, and Charlene Wee, and her two grandsons, Christopher and Johnathan. She will be joining her husband and her beloved mother-in-law, Jung Ja Kim, who are also laid to rest at Forest Lawn.
