Susan Irene Coleman

Susan Irene Coleman, 61, born on March 28, 1952, in Albuquerque, NM, passed away December 6, 2013. She resided in Fresno, CA at the time of her passing. oArrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cathedral City, CA.Susan (Susy) Coleman passed away, at age 61, on Friday, December 6, 2013 surrounded by her family and close friends. She is survived by her brother, Roger (Judee) Coleman, her nephew, Trevor Coleman, and numerous family and friends. She was born in Albuquerque N.M. on March 28, 1952 and moved to the South Bay at a young age. She was a graduate of West Torrance High School and El Camino College. Susy worked many years for the City of Hawthorne.  While working in the offices of the Hawthorne Fire Department she became involved with the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation as camp counselor "Chilidawg", board member and fundraiser. After she retired in 2006, Susy moved to Fresno, California.  Per her wishes there will be a celebration of her life sometime after the first of the year.
