Dr. SuJin Chung

SuJin Chung, a beloved husband, cherished father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025 at the age of 81. Born in Seoul, South Korea on September 21, 1943, he was a psychiatrist, practicing in Dearborn, Michigan and Los Angeles, California who improved the lives of so many.

He was a passionate golfer, tennis player, martial artist, dancer, singer, traveler, amateur photographer, and artist. He will be remembered as a gentleman who dedicated his life to his family and friends.

SuJin is survived by his sisters Hyo Jin Chung and Gookjin Ahn; loving wife of 58 years, Sang Mi; children, Charlie (Ching Hon), Bobby (Cristina), Cathy (Thomas Hahn), and Rudy (Maria); and grandchildren, Hannah, Sarah, Claire, Owen, Oliver, Edward, Beatrice, Ally, Andrew, Josie, and Lukas.

A celebration of his life will be held at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale.

Friends, family, and all whose lives he enriched are invited to join in honoring a man who lived with purpose, loved without measure, and left the world brighter for his presence.
