Stephen Leon Price

Stephen Leon Price, born on August 8, 1942, passed away on August 19, 2025. He lived a life full of faith, service, family, and passion. Stephen proudly served in the United States Army, a combat veteran during the Vietnam War, an experience that shaped his character and instilled a sense of duty and resilience that he carried throughout his life.

Stephen was a beloved husband to Joyce Price - to whom he was married for over 55 years - and together they built a family that will cherish his memory forever. He is survived by his children, Jeb (Janis) Price, Amber (Alex) Hackert, and Drue Price, who continue to honor his legacy; and by his grandsons, Luke, Dane, Jack, and Ryan, who brought immense joy to his life; as well as by his brother Ben Price.

Stephen was preceded in death by his parents Leon and Aurlee “Nita” Price, and by his brother Dennis Price.

After his service, he retired from his profession as an electrician with Southern California Edison—a career that reflected his commitment to providing for his family. He was passionate about off-roading and had a deep love for Harley Davidson motorcycles, pursuits that defined his adventurous spirit.

More than anything, Stephen cherished the time he spent with his family, creating memories filled with laughter, adventure, and love. His bold character and indomitable spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A viewing will be held September 11th, 2025 from 6 to 9 PM at Forest Lawn Cypress.

A funeral service to honor Stephen's life will be held on September 12, 2025, at Forest Lawn - Cypress. The service will commence at 10:30 AM, followed by a time of remembrance. As we bid farewell to a remarkable man, we hold close the impact he made on our lives and the love he so freely shared.
