Stanley William Kennedy

Stanley Willam Kennedy, 66, passed away November 7, 2013. He resided in Indio, CA at the time of his passing. He was born on June 1, 1947 to the loving parents William Kennedy, deceased, and Jane Kennedy Weston. Stanley married Josephine Smith on November 27, 1993. He worked for the Los Angeles Unified School Police Department for 30 years and retired in 2002 . After retirement, he served as the Chief of Police for the Pasadena Unified School District Police Department and later as a special investigator for the Inglewood Unified School District. He served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968. He is survived by his wife, Josephine Kennedy of Indio, CA, his mother, Jane Weston, his sister, Katherine Kennedy, brother, Edward Weston, and step-mother, Norma Kennedy. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cathedral City, CA. Viewing will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by service at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, November 16, 2013. In lieu of flowers, donations to the USO at 210 N. El Cielo Suite 102, Palm Springs, California 92262, will be gratefully accepted in honor of Stanley's dedication to our United States service men and women.
