Stanley Hall

Stanley Roger Hall, 90, born on February 03, 1935, in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States, passed peacefully through the veil into the eternal realm from his hospital bed in San Dimas, California on February 18, 2025.  He was one of five children of Emil Gilbert Harry Hall and Astrid Lydia Stenersen.

Stan was a sincere, kind, and generous man who made all of his family, friends, and acquaintances feel appreciated.  He was an example of love, compassion, and steadfast faith in God.  While he is engaged in joyous reunions with family and friends who have passed before him, including his parents, siblings (Gladys, Einar, Judy, and Dennis), one son (Marc), and a grandson (Travis), those who remain in this mortal realm will miss him and remember him fondly until our grand reunion in the heavens.

Stan is survived by his loving wife, Arlene Mae Hall (Penrod), four daughters and sons-in-law (Shari & Jeff, Julie & Jeff, Kristen & Scott, and Heather & Mike), three sons and daughters-in-law (Kurt & Emily, Greg & Erin, and Brett & Eleide), twenty grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and countless extended family and friends.

Stan graduated from Granite High School, served a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Norway, earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Utah, a Master's degree from UCLA, and a Doctorate degree from the University of Southern California. His pinnacle achievement was marrying the love of his life and of eternity in the House of the Lord and rearing a family within the covenant.  

Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, CA. Funeral services will be held on March 15, 2025 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at
