Soon Hwi Choe, 101, born on September 6, 1911, in Korea, passed away January 15, 2013. She resided in Glendale, California at the time of her passing. Soon Hwi Choe was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother throughout her full joyous life. She was a devoted Christian and was a strong believer. The best way that her family and friends will forever remember her is as the strongest person we have ever known. A survivor of cancer in her later years, a citizen of Los Angeles that was honored by LAPD on her 100th birthday, she will forever remind us to appreciate life for every moment and to be prepared for a greater eternal life in heaven.
