Shirley F. "bunny" (fleming) Von hasseln

East Kingston, NH: Shirley F. "Bunny" (Fleming) von Hasseln, 82, a resident of East Kingston since 2000 died on December 14, 2013 at Exeter Hospital in Exeter, NH.

Born, raised, and educated in Marblehead, MA, daughter of the late Lester E. and Catherine (Sullivan) Fleming, she graduated from Marblehead High School and went on to attend Secretarial School.

Mrs. von Hasseln worked as a Sales Associate for Sears and Roebuck and was also formerly employed at the Marblehead Public Library. An avid reader and bird watcher, she was a member of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish of Holy Angels Church.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harry von Hasseln, Jr., and is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Harry and Lisa von Hasseln III of Bridgton, ME, three daughters, Lisa LeBlanc and her husband Norman of Kingston, Lynne Macklin of East Kingston, and Susan von Hasseln of Wilmington, NC, three grandchildren, Casey Macklin, Kyle von Hasseln, and Zachary von Hasseln, and a sister Dorothy Hixson of St. Luis Obispo, CA.

There are no calling hours. There will be a private family funeral service at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Route 121A, Plaistow, NH.
