Shirley Joanne Corrigan, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully left this world on January 8, 2026, in Seal Beach, California. Born on September 13, 1930, in Pasadena, California, Joanne lived a life filled with love and meaning and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Joanne earned her Bachelor’s degree in English from Point Loma Nazarene University, an accomplishment that reflected her love for literature and learning. Throughout her life, she was known for her passion for reading, which brought her joy and knowledge, and she shared this love with those around her.

Her interests went beyond the pages of books; she found solace and satisfaction in gardening, nurturing her vibrant plants just as she nurtured her family. Luncheons with her girlfriends were a treasured part of Joanne’s life, as were her moments attending church, where her faith and community flourished.

Joanne is survived by her children, Paul, Linda, and Carol, who carry forward her legacy of kindness and love. She was not only a devoted mother but also a proud grandmother to four grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to two great-grandchildren, creating memories that will endure through generations.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bruce, whose memory she held dear. Their shared moments and enduring love are a testament to the life they built together.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Joanne's life will be held on January 21, 2026, at 2:30 PM, at Forest Lawn - Cypress, located at 4471 Lincoln Avenue, Cypress, California, followed by a time of reflection and remembrance.
