Sherman W. Lewandowski, 87, born on November 30, 1926, in Leavenworth, Kansas, passed away May 30, 2014. He resided in Long Beach, California at the time of his passing. Loving father to Steven Lewandowski, Michael Lewandowski and Theodore Lewandowski. Grandfather to Alexis Lewandowski and Aiden Lewandowski. Preceded by death by his loving wife Dorothy Lewandowski. Sherman honorably served for 25 years in the Navy. After being discharged he worked for many years at the Post Office. Upon retirement , he volunteered at many organizations across Long Beach. He has touched the lives of so many and will greatly be missed. Navy Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Long Beach, California.
