Shelly Ann Wong

Shelly Ann Wong, 50, born on April 28, 1971, in Washington, PA, passed away July 26, 2021. She resided in Lakewood, CA at the time of her passing.
She was the daughter of Shirley Williams and Gerald Sims, who both preceded her death.

Shelly leaves behind two sons, Jordan K Wong, 23, Christian S Wong, 21, and one daughter Samara G Bruce,14.

Shelly has six siblings; Jeri Williams of Washington, PA, Gerald Bowman, Shane Bowman (Orion) and Brandi Perkins of Canonsburg, PA. Helena Sjuille of Hesperia, CA and Shayla Green (Philip) of Coraopolis, PA.

She attended Canon McMillan High School until her family moved to Fontana, California in 1987 at which time she attended and graduated with honors from Fontana High school in 1989.
Shelly was a proud alumni of the University of Southern California, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in engineering in 1994.
As an engineer, Shelly loved, architecture, building and designing. She was passionate about her field and championed diversity in it.
Shelly enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Shelly will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

Visitation will be on August 22 from 1:00 to 4:00pm
Graveside service will be held on August 23 at 9 AM
Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress, California.

During the past couple of years, Shelly was unable to remain working in the career field she loved, and had difficulty with expenses. Shelly's three young children and family would greatly benefit from financial assistance in lieu of flowers for the funeral.
