Sharen Guy

Sharen “Sher” was born in Long Beach, California, and spent her life finding joy in people, places, and everyday experiences. She always preferred to be called “Sher” and was known for her positive outlook, warm spirit, and love of reminiscing about friends, family, and cherished memories. 

After spending part of her childhood traveling with her Navy family, including time in Hawaii, Sher returned to Long Beach, graduated from Millikan High School, and later made her home in Seal Beach before moving back to Long Beach. While working as a waitress in Garden Grove, she met Joe, her devoted life partner. Together they shared many happy years filled with day trips, travel along California’s Central Coast, visits to Las Vegas, and evenings enjoying dinner, entertainment, and favorite local traditions. 

Sher loved music, playing the piano, beautiful homes and gardens, roses, cats, and a stylish hat. She took great pride in her yard and found beauty in all things. In her later years, she enjoyed the comfort of home and time spent with Joe. 

Sher’s health declined over the past few years, but her appreciation for life never faded. She will be remembered for her kindness, optimism, and the happiness she found in life’s simple pleasures. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
