Sergey V. Gantman

Like a true warrior, Sergey Gantman bravely fought until the end. He peacefully joined his Papa Vladi, the jazz greats, and angels in heaven on July 18, 2020. He was the best friend, soul mate, and one-in-a-lifetime love of Jocelyn. He was a loving, dedicated, and the best father to Anabelle and Alexandra (Sasha).

He is survived by a family who deeply cared for him - brothers (Igor and Tim), parents-in-law (Gloria and Felimon), sisters-in-law (Joy and Jen), brothers-in-law (Alan and Andy), and nephews (Matthew, Jonathan, and Andre).

Sergey took pride in his profession as a nurse in Critical Care, Emergency Department, and most recently in Care Management. He was a generous, funny, loyal, and kind-hearted soul. He adored his wife and daughters. He was passionate about travelling, jazz, bread, good food, sports (especially the Pittsburgh Steelers) and Starbucks mugs. He was a sincere leader, a devoted servant, and a genuine friend. There is no doubt that Sergey lived a purpose-driven life. He will forever be loved and missed.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Sergey with family and friends during the funeral service at Church of the Hills, Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills (6300 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90068) on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 8:30am.
