Sean R. Steele

Atkinson, NH: Sean R. Steele, 24, of Atkinson, NH died suddenly on Thursday, January 7, 2016. He was born on July 18, 1991 in Exeter, NH. He was the son of Bill Steele of Atkinson and Kate (Bresnahan) Vose of Wilmington, NC.

Sean grew up in Danville and Atkinson, NH. He graduated from Timberlane Regional High School with the Class of 2009. Sean played soccer in his first few years of high school, but switched to cross country, where he excelled.
He went on to graduate from Keene State College with the Class of 2013.

Sean was employed as a team lead for Community House in Brattleboro, VT. His compassionate and caring nature made him an excellent fit in his chosen profession.

Sean is survived by his father and step-mother, Bill and Karen Steele of Atkinson, his mother and step-father, Kate and David Vose of Wilmington, NC, his siblings, Marine Sergeant Jeremy Steele and his wife Yuri of Sneads Ferry, NC, Kellie McMahon of Portland, ME, Aisling Steele of Somersworth, NH, Jacob Steele, and Amelia Steele of Atkinson. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Bresnahan of Haverhill, his step-brothers, Eric and Justin Vose of Haverhill, his very special Auntie Doe of Amesbury, MA, and several other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call on Monday, January 11, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. His funeral will begin on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Anne's Church, Emerson Avenue, Hampstead, NH.
