Scott Edward Wieland, age 57 of Danville, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday March 19, 2012.

He was born on July 7, 1954 in Bloomfield, NJ the son of Fredrick E. and Frances C. (Kale) Wieland.  He was raised and educated in Peterborough, NH.

Scott served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era and was honorably discharged.
Scott worked for Advance Security in Plaistow as the Operations Manager for over 10 years.

He was an avid reader who loved history, philosophy and theology.  He enjoyed music and shooting
pool with friends.  He loved to play Keno at Mr. Mike's in Haverhill.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Scott was predeceased by his father, Fredrick E. Wieland.  He is survived by his mother, Frances C. (Kale) Kolb of Somersworth, NH, wife of 10 years, April A. (Nicoli) Wieland of Danville, NH, Son, Scott R. Wieland of Fort Collins, CO, daughters; Dawn F. Wieland-Rossignol and husband Jeremy of Madison Township, NJ, Chantalle S. Lister and Husband Edward R. of Plaistow, NH, Tanya M. Russell of Derry, NH and Heather M. Russell of Danville, NH, brothers; Freddie Wieland of Las Vegas, NV, Daniel Kolb and wife Linda and Timothy Kolb and wife Jen, all of New Durham, NH, sisters; Barbara Smullen and husband James of Myrtle Beach, SC, Dannette Benjamin and husband Bob of Somersworth, NH, Kimberly Hatt and husband Sandy of Holden, ME and Susan Lockett of Somersworth, NH.  8 grandchildren and several aunts, uncles and many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive him.

Calling hours are Thursday March 22, 2012 from 6 - 7:30 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main Street in Plaistow.  Funeral Services will take place following the calling hours at 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
