Saturnino Ferman

November 29, 1927 — April 9, 2025

Junto a tranquilas aguas me conduce; me infunde nuevas fuerzas.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me.” Psalms 23

It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Saturnino Ferman, a beloved great-grandfather, grandfather, father, and friend, who departed this life peacefully on April 9, 2025 at the age of 97.

Affectionately known as "Papa Nino”, Saturnino was born in La Union, El Salvador on November 29th, 1927. He lived a life defined by strength, unwavering integrity, and deep devotion to his family. He worked tirelessly throughout his life, not only to provide but to lead by example—instilling in those around him the values of hard work, kindness, and humility.

Saturnino was also a man of prayer, a quiet pillar of strength whose unwavering belief in God's grace touched everyone he encountered. He was a man of great character and wisdom, always ready with a smile and a listening ear. His presence brought comfort and warmth to all who knew him. Whether through a shared story, a heartfelt song on his guitar, or a moment of quiet companionship, he made a lasting impact on everyone he met.

He is survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will carry forward his memory with love and pride. Though he has left this world, the legacy of his life—the lessons he taught, the love he gave, and the strength he showed—will live on in the hearts of those who knew and cherished him.

May he rest in peace, forever remembered and deeply missed.
