Faith, love, and praying hands in front of us while you were in a daze, a semiconscious state
A fighter until the end, never giving up on your loved ones and friends
Secretive, never wanting to worry or hurt us
Taking on burdens that can cause some people to desert us

Sacrifice is a word you knew well
Only thinking about others and little of yourself
You cared for many like their sister or mother
Rarely worrying about your pain and sorrow that you would not tell

Feeling robbed, taken so young
So many things left undone
So many places and things we did not take the time to do
We'll always remember how much you loved us and we loved you

Forever remembered by your actions and not so much your words
You've been a prime example in our world
You touched so many as an adult, mother, and young girl
I will remember you day and night and especially with God's words
Never can I forget how you revealed love, laughter, faith in God, and that eternal smile
