Santos Hernandez Donez

Santos Hernandez Donez, 65, of Cathedral City, Calif., passed away March 25, 2013 in Rancho Mirage, Calif. He was born February 16, 1948, to Natividad and Maria Donez in Harlingen, Texas. He married Gladys Swink on March 21, 1998 in Las Vegas, Nev. He was a well dressed service clerk for Costco for 20 years. In addition to being well dressed, he was well loved by the Costco Members and the Costco Family. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 166. He was truly a happy, funny, caring person and will be missed by anyone who ever knew him. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Donez; daughters, Christi Donez Leon of Colorado Springs, Colo., Mary Elizabeth Reyes of Landers, Calif, and BrookeAnn Renee Donez of Cathedral City; sons, Steven Santos Donez of Colorado Springs, Santos Donez Jr. and Adrian Jacob Donez, both of Lubbock, Texas, and Matthew Derek Donez of Cathedral City; sisters, Delia Cardenas and Mary Helen Trevenio both of Coachella, Calif.; and brothers, Enrique Donez and Ernesto Donez, both of Indio, Calif. and Frank Donez of Thousand Palms, Calif. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2013 from 10 am to 12 pm in the Ramon Chapel at Forest Lawn Cathedral City, with a service to follow at 12 pm. Forest Lawn Memorial-Parks & Mortuaries.
