Sanpar Naing was born to the late Reverend Wai Lin Naing and Ahnaw Byu. She was affectionately known as Putu by her family and friends. She was the fourth of five children. Sanpar was a beloved aunt to her nieces and nephews: Murahn, Shia, Cassius, and Cassia.
She is survived by her mother, Ahnaw Byu Naing, and siblings, Natha, Karamat, Kadoe, and Ahkyaw.
