Sandra Jean Sterud

Sandra Jean Sterud (76) passed away Saturday, July 21 at home surrounded by her family. Born December 10, 1941 in Hawthorne, CA, she was married for nearly 59 years to her beloved Curtis. Together they raised three children--Teri, David and Vicki--in Garden Grove where they have lived for 55 years.

For 32 years Sandra was a member of Calvary Church Santa Ana where she and Curtis often traveled on mission trips to such places as Mexico, Peru, Philippines and cities in America. Prior to that she was a member of Bethany Chapel in Long Beach for 27 years. In the 70s Sandra worked at Patton Elementary School cafeteria and later spent 12 years as an administrative assistant in the Aerospace industry.

She is survived by her husband Curtis, daughter Teri and her husband Wesley Rippeon, son David and his wife Jennifer Sterud, daughter Vicki and her husband Will Rogers, six grandchildren, Chad Sterud, Jacki Taylor, Brittney Rippeon, Alexander Rippeon, Matthew Rogers and Katie Rogers and three great grandchildren Andrew Taylor, McKenzi Taylor and Elijah Taylor.


Family and Friends are invited to her funeral this Saturday, July 28th at 2pm at Church of our Fathers, Forest Lawn, 4471 Lincoln Ave., Cypress, CA 90630
