Sandra Stephanie Sorhaindo

Sandra Sorhaindo, a long-time resident of the Los Angeles area, passed away Saturday, April 4th at the age of 70 in her home surrounded by family.
Born in 1944 in Belize, Sandra moved to the United States in the 1960s. Over the years, she trained in several disciplines. She was a secretary, a hair stylist, and she studied to become a travel agent. Sandra was best known as a home-maker, taking great care of her children and grandchildren. Sandra loved Polynesian culture and visited Hawaii several times. Among many things, she enjoyed gardening, watching travel TV, "do-it-yourself" projects, and spending time with family.
She is survived by her husband, Leslie Sorhaindo, son, Allan Vellos, daughters, Nichole and Paulette Sorhaindo, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews – all of whom brought great joy to her life.
