In Memoriam: Sandra Rhodes (July 18, 1948 - December 22, 2023)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandy Rhodes, a beloved mother, Nana, and friend, who left this world on December 22, 2023. Born on July 18, 1948, to Leonard and Annice Oser, in Bell County, TX, Sandy's life was a testament to love, warmth, and cherished moments.

Sandy is survived by her three loving children, Cindy, Jennifer, and Robert, who, along with their families, mourn the loss of a remarkable woman. Her legacy lives on through her six adoring grandchildren - Jazlynne, Jadden, Julia, Ella, John, and Samuel - who will forever carry the imprints of her love and wisdom.

A resident of Long Beach, CA, Sandy was deeply rooted in her community, where she touched the lives of many with her kindness and generosity. Her passions in life were as diverse as her friendships. Sandy found immense joy in the kitchen, where her culinary creations brought people together. Her love for gardening was evident in the vibrant blooms that adorned her home, a reflection of the beauty she cultivated in every aspect of her life.

However, it was in the embrace of family and friends that Sandy found her greatest happiness. Her gatherings were filled with laughter, shared stories, and the warmth of unconditional love. Sandy's ability to create a sense of belonging made her home a haven for all who entered.

As we bid farewell to Sandy Rhodes, we celebrate a life well-lived and a spirit that will forever remain in our hearts. In the garden of memories, she will continue to bloom, and the echoes of her laughter will resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love that she so freely gave to others.
