Sandra was born in Pennsylvania in 1942.
Her parents Wilbur Jerome Fitzgerald from Pennsylvania and Mother Marianne Jane McGarity from Ohio relocated to California when she was a young girl.
Sandi graduated from Palm Springs High School in 1960. She then married and had 2 children. She worked Switch Board / Office at the original Indian Wells Country Club. She later worked with a Mortgage Company in Palm Desert then at Desert Hospital in Nutritional Service's in the early 80's. Sandi loved the mountains and after her children were grown she moved to Big Bear, California. It was there that she thrived making many dear life long friends. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Am Vets, and the Moose Lodge. She loved volunteering and helping children or anyone in need. In 1997 she relocated to Palm Desert with her daughter and son in-law. Sandi was a Caregiver not only by trade but now with her family. She developed lasting friendships with the families of patients she had cared for.
Sandi was very close to her two children, Jessica Clay whom with her husband Bob Clay own Outdoor Living Concepts and her Son Jack Harris owner of J&L Custom Concrete. The pride, support and love she showed on a daily basis was amazing and will be missed more than words can say.
Her wisdom and love will not only leave a huge impression on her family but also on all the young hearts she touched while watching her grandchildren grow.

Sandi is survived by her Daughter Jessica Clay, Son Jack Harris, Son In-Law Bob Clay, Brother Steve Fitzgerald, Granddaughter's Ashlee Weiss, Alicia Harris, Heather Harris. Grandson's Bobby Clay, John Kyle Clay, Justin Clay, Jack Harris and 6 Great-Grandchildren.

Mom, you are our beautiful angel now. Until we are together again please watch over us and know we love you with all our hearts. God Bless You.
