Samuel Llorca

Samuel Estampador Llorca of Janiuay, Iloilo Philippines and Rialto, California passed away on Thursday, October 23rd, 2025 at Kaiser Permanente Fontana Hospital after a brave battle with dementia and bladder cancer. He was 79 years old and surrounded by his loved ones. Born Samuel Estampador Llorca on May 26, 1946 in Iloilo Philippines and was raised in the municipality of Janiuay. He graduated with a degree in Engineering from Western Institute of Technology and then decided to immigrate to the United States in 1972. Samuel went back to the Philippines to ask Gilda to marry him and the two were wed on May 24th, 1975 at St. Clements Catholic Church in La Paz, Iloilo City Philippines. He was a caring and kind father to his three children, Karen Michelle (Chelle), Marie Therese (Marither), and Samuel Vincent (Sammy Boy) and he dearly loved his three grandchildren, Natalia Marie, Liam Connor, and Sophia Therese. He was preceded in death by his parents, Miguel Llorca and Esperanza Estampador. He leaves behind a wife, Gilda Tio, whom he was married to for 50 years. Sam will always be remembered for his love of watches, books, movies, and animals. But most of all his greatest love was his family.
