Samuel Ortega De Guzman Jr.

Samuel Ortega de Guzman Jr was a caring and loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. He left this world on December 21, 2021 at age 66. he was born to Samuel and Lourdes de Guzman on March 12, 1954, in Albay, Philippines. After he completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from University of San Carlos, he married the love of his life, Lisa Glo de Guzman. Together they had 3 children: Samuel III, Joe and Santiago; and 8 grandchildren: Alyssa, James, Leah, Jessa, Noah, Anthony, Micah and Andrew. Samuel wanted a better life for his family so he re-located his family from Cebu City to California. Samuel loved family gatherings and his grandchildren were his biggest joy. He was a great family man and a great provider for his family. He loved to sing with his friends and was in a couple of bands during his lifetime. He was always the life of the party and made everyone laugh. He had a very big heart and was there to help people when they needed assistance. He resided in Fontana, CA at the time of his passing. There will be services on Saturday, January 16th at 2:30pm at Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, in the Meditation Garden. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, California.
